As the Founder of the Future Food Institute, Sara creates real, positive change to improve life on Earth, through education and innovation in the global food systems.
In 2003, she co-founded You Can Group, the first of 30 start-ups focused on digital, design, and food. Today, this ecosystem of affiliate brands and partners operates dedicated offices in the USA (California), Japan, and Italy.
Sara combines her experience as an entrepreneur, activist, educator, and seasoned growth expert to collaborate with high-profile think tanks on setting the agenda for the sustainable food industry. Often a sparring partner with key decision-makers in business and government institutions, she knows how to apply creative, and radical, tactics for transformation.
