Highly respected for his energy, enthusiasm, curiosity, tenacity, sense of humor, willingness to take risks and entrepreneurial spirit, Robert Peterson makes things happen and gets things done on time, on budget with the desired result.  A global marketing & communications client management and strategic planning executive, consultant and change-agent for over 40-years, his work spans fast moving consumer goods to the automotive industry and general business problem solving.  He began his business career with Proctor & Gamble, moved to the advertising agency business in New York City eventually spending 18-years at Saatchi & Saatchi before setting up his own consulting practice in 1999 called The Wickaboag Consulting Group Inc.   He has lived and worked in New York City, Los Angeles, Tokyo, Brussels, Rome, Mexico City, Manila and has traveled to 40+ countries on business projects.  He has unique knowledge of the Japanese market and experience working with Japanese clients becoming widely known as Bob-san.  He worked with Toyota Motor Corporation in Japan plus its Toyota & Lexus regional offices and distributors around the world from 1982-2017.  Other current and past clients are RGF International (Recruit Holdings Co), Asahi Intecc, Olive Smart Ear (Korean/Japanese Start-up), Automotive Marketing Consultants Inc., Organization for Small & Medium Enterprises and Regional Innovation, JAPAN (part of METI), CLSA Securities Japan Co., Ltd. and Dentsu among others.  REP is also CEO of the start-up MIMIKO INC. manufacturer and distributor of Toute Nuit Facial Wrinkle Patches in the USA and Japan. REP published his first book Make It Happen! in April 2015.  He lectures and makes presentation to universities, chambers of commerce and business networking organizations in Tokyo and has written a series of articles related to Japan and marketing.  REP is married with two sons and splits his time between residences in Ota-ku, Tokyo JAPAN and Lake Wickaboag, West Brookfield, MA USA.
