Cooling cities is my lifetime goal in the climate change era. As a passionate landscape architect and Nature-Based designer, I intend to mitigate urban heat islands and turn them into suitable places for sports activities. I invented "Comolevi Fractal Shade, "a bio-mimicry product - the technology was inspired by the fractal as a natural object. The nature-based design is utilized for public spaces dedicated to sports activities in heated cities worldwide. In 2021, I became a chair of the "Landscape Architects without Borders working group" in the International federation of landscape architects, Asia Pacific Region, which UNESCO acknowledges community. We do outreach activities and share our nature-based design skills with the global South, such as Southeast Asia and Pacific islands. Because those are countries with significant climate change problems, rising sea levels, food security, and urban heat, we as problem solvers take action against them for living. We sometimes funded to that country to help and also we started cross talk sessions and workshop in Covid-19 situation to those countries for exchange the knowledge and know-how the problem is worse in global South. Our community takes action for big solutions to tackle climate change issues.
