Kayne Ikeda is the General Manager of Japan and South Korea of Ultimaker. Ultimaker is a 3D printer-manufacturing company based in the Netherlands, with offices and assembly line in the Netherlands and the United States. Ultimaker makes fused filament fabrication 3D printers, develop 3D printing software, and sell branded 3D printing materials. Kayne has been working in the 3D industry the last 10 years in Japan and has introduced various 3D printing technologies in the Japanese market. He started his career in the Aero Space Industry Designing jet engine components in the United States, specialized in Quality Control and Assurance in the industrial settings and have implemented various ergonomic and efficient solutions not only in a factory setting but also in the office environment as well. Although he represents a 3D printing company, he still keeps in open mind in the 3D industry and is helping spread the amazing technology of 3D printing with an unbiased approach. He is currently focusing on getting people at a younger age exposed to 3D printing and is helping spread the technology out on his spear time.
