Launched Solve AI Challenge, a cross-border open innovation program matching large corporations and startups to realize data-driven society in 2023 at Solve AI, a subsidiary of AI startup, MoBagel. Until 2022, he was at Orange Japan and launched and managed Orange Fab Asia, a startup accelerator program to support Asian startups to go global utilizing the global network of a French telecom, Orange Group, in Tokyo from 2013 and expand to Taipei and Seoul in 2014. Orange Fab Asia supports 239 startups in AI, IoT, XR, and many areas related to the telecom and ICT services. He invested in a startup in Japan as a venture partner at Iris Capital, a venture capital firm managing a venture fund of Orange in 2012. He has developed partnerships between startups and Orange since 2010. From 2002 to 2010, he worked at Sunbride Solutions, a consulting and incubation service provider specialized in IT. He managed to launch an operation in Japan as a master distributor of several foreign startups including US’s SaaS project management service, @task, and Romanian security software, BitDefender. He also provided marketing and business development consulting services for IT vendors such as Fujitsu, NEC, and Microsoft. He has also worked at Mitsui Corporation to launch an e-business consulting service and Japan Management Systems as a consultant. He holds an MBA from Rotterdam School of Management (The Netherlands). He studied at Waseda University in Mechanical Engineering (Japan).
