Felix von Drigalski is Lead Product Engineer at Mujin, Inc. He obtained a PhD in computer science at the Nara Institute of Science and Technology, Japan, and MSc level engineering degrees from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany, and the INSA Lyon, France. From 2018 to 2021, he was a Senior Researcher at OMRON SINIC X Corporation, Japan. His research interests include robotic manipulation, tactile sensing, and autonomous assembly. His teams reached 1st Place at the Airbus Shopfloor Challenge at ICRA 2016, Finalist Prize at the Amazon Robotics Challenge 2017, as well as 3rd and 4th Place at the World Robot Summit Assembly Challenge 2020 and 2018, along with awards from the Japanese Society for Artificial Intelligence (JSAI) and the Society of Instrument and Control Engineers (SICE). He is a member of IEEE.
