ABOUT THE SESSION
How you ever wondered about the gap between what is virtual and what is real? Avatarization, or representation of user in the virtual world, is a unique, transformative concept that allows us to shift between personas and manage complex interaction scenarios across platforms. We have never before been offered open access to resources that mask, highlight, augment, and spin our identities. In fact, it is expected that we are not far away from a world in which operating multiple avatars simultaneously would be commonplace and efficient. What does this interaction scenario look like? What are some of our human limitations? How can computers assist us to be more capable people? Join us in exploring these open-ended questions and discover the applications of omnipresence, telexistence, and cybernetic being.
