Eriko Suzuki – Kind Capital – Chief Executive Officer

Eriko is a tech and social impact investor, focused on areas such as well-being, Sustainability, and Web3. Most recently founding member and Managing Director of Japan’s first ESG-focused VC MPower Partners, formerly GP of Fresco Capital and Investment Director of Mistletoe. Eriko started her career in Investment Banking at Morgan Stanley and UBS and later became Japan’s country manager of a Silicon Valley-based drone startup. Author of “How we live, will be how we work” (Daiwashobo, 2018) and translator of New York Times best seller “Mission Economy: A moonshot guide to changing capitalism” (Mariana Mazzucato, 2021). Mother of two children.

Priya Sultan – Social Impact Lab Japan – Founder & CEO

Priya has been a global leader in impact entrepreneurship for over 10 years. She has been focused primarily on enabling young people to build social enterprises which disrupt markets and create a positive impact on society. Her experience expanded across many global organizations in the public and private sectors, including United Nations, Hult Prize Foundation, and Recruit Holdings. She believes impact entrepreneurs are changing the world, and is committed to catalyzing more people to get involved with this movement and backing them with the resources they need to scale their impact.

John Kojiro Moriwaka – Silicon Valley Ventures – Founder & CEO

John Kojiro Moriwaka (森若 幸次郎) is a recognized Japanese multi-entrepreneur, columnist, visiting professor, public speaker, advisor of startups to global companies, venture capitals, and a mentor of many accelerators. He is a renowned speaker expert on global entrepreneurship and startups, and heavily spends time in Silicon Valley and Harvard to share their best practices with his audiences.

Masahiro Hata – Founding partner at GLIN Impact Capital
Masahiro Hata is the Co-Founder & General Partner of GLIN Impact Capital. GLIN is an impact/ESG venture capital established to contribute to the development of impact/ESG investing with the mission to “reimagine capitalism for systemic change”. Prior to GLIN, Masa worked at Mitsubishi Corporation, managing businesses in Brazil. He also worked at Anzu Partners and JAFCO, investing in startups and growth-stage firms. Masa deepened his knowledge of impact and ESG investment at Harvard Business School and upon graduation, he founded GLIN. Masa also serves as a chair of the VC committee of the Japan Impact-driven Financing Initiative.
