世界各地でESGに関する取り組みが加速しており、企業の社会的責任が注目される中、スタートアップ起業家とVCにとってもESGへの取り組みが求められています。

本セッションでは、海外先進事例を踏まえて、スタートアップ起業家とVCがどのようにESGに取り組むべきかについて、ヨーロッパでESG・インパクトを意識したファンドを運営しているbyFoundersの取り組みと同社のインパクトレポートを紹介し、デジタルガレージとのパネルディスカッションを行います。

ESG initiatives are accelerating around the world and corporate social responsibility is receiving increasing attention. In this context, startups and VCs are also expected to contribute to ESG initiatives.

This session will provide insights into how startups and VCs can approach ESG initiatives, based on examples of advanced initiatives in Europe. byFounders, which manages an impact-aware fund in Europe, will introduce its initiatives and impact reports, followed by a panel discussion by Digital Garage and byFounders.

【Open Network Lab（Onlab）/ Onlab ESG】

Open Network lab (“Onlab”) is a startup accelerator operated by Digital Garage, Inc. and it has been supported and invested in innovative world wide startups since April, 2010. As a pioneer of Japanese accelerator program, Onlab has organized more than 30 programs with a track record of more than 140 successful startups including unicorns and IPOs. In 2018, Onlab extended its operation by launching “Open Innovation Program” to promote the continued integration of startups into the society with the supports from enterprises.
