This unique presentation will showcase the traditional Okinawan instrument, the ‘Sanshin,’ played by the Yotsuya Ryukyu Club, in a captivating collaboration with live calligraphy art by the calligrapher Ryotaro. Join us for this innovative session and immerse yourself in a moment where members of the global community can truly experience Japan!

「GLOBAL GATHERING TOKYO 2023」を締めくくるのは音楽とアートのパフォーマンス。

四谷琉球倶楽部による三線（さんしん）の音色と沖縄民謡の演奏、書道家Ryotaro氏による書道アートのコラボレーションが実現。世界中から集まったゲストを含め、グローバルコミュニティが日本を感じる時間をお楽しみ下さい！

②紹介文、活動内容 | Introductions and Activities

東京都新宿区四谷を拠点に活動中。沖縄居酒屋「四谷琉球」を営む店主片峯智恵子が2005年に三線教室として四谷琉球倶楽部を設立。

沖縄民謡と三線を通して、沖縄の言葉、思い、歴史を学んでいます。地域のイベントや小学校にてライブ演奏、昨年は赤坂迎賓館前でのライブに出演等。

沖縄民謡とポップスを織り交ぜて、沖縄の温かで優しい風景をお届けします。一緒に歌い踊りましょう！

Basing events and activities from Yotsuya, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, Chieko Katamine, owner of the Okinawan Izakaya “Yotsuya Ryukyu”, started the Yotsuya Ryukyu Club in 2005. While learning Okinawan folk songs on the sanshin Okinawan instrument, the class learns the almost extinct Okinawan dialect, Okinawan feelings, and history. We have had live performances at local events, elementary schools and even last year performed in front of Japans national treasure, Akasaka Palace. We will mix Okinawan traditional folk songs with modern pop music to bring everyone warm and beautiful scenes of Okinawa.

◉2020年

• 「東京2020応援プログラム芸術祭」（東京・大阪）の「東京展:東京芸術劇場」「大阪展:OBPツイン21アトリウム（大阪・京橋）」にて展示。
• 同年パリ国際コンクールでも作品を出展。会場は、芸術家で若手の登竜門ルーブル美術館近くに位置する「リンダ・ファレル・ギャルリー（パリ）」。

◉2022年

• J.arts BRIDGE2022for SDGs出展し、カンボジア全土で使用される教材の表紙作品に選ばれ、【炎/ほむら】が採用される。こちらの会場は、歴史ある京都文化博物館にて展示。
• また、2022年3月には、全国の美術館に置かれる『芸術紀行』vo3の雑誌にて、作品が掲載。

◉2023年

• 2月に初めて地元厚木の地でFREE展《個展》を開催し、300人以上の来場者を集め大盛況で幕を閉じる
• 6月には下北沢にてミュージシャンで友人のライブに招待され、ライブパフォーマンスを実施！
• 8月には、厚木市内の4小学校区の大きなイベント「依知北地区大子ども祭り」にて、子ども達約1000人に向けて書道パフォーマンスを成功させる
• つい先日には、ミュージシャンで世界的人気ロックバンドのTAKAさん、AAAのNissyさんとインスタグラムのライブ配信にてコラボ配信が実現し、今回のセッションの機会につながる。動画も上がっているのでこちらから見て頂けたら嬉しいです！
