Pitch2Tokyo – Tokyo Regional Round
As previously announced, the Venture Café Global Gathering 2026 will take place on February 19, 2026, at Toranomon Hills, with support from the Tokyo Metropolitan Government. This international conference is part of the global Venture Café network, active in 14 cities worldwide. It brings together a vibrant community of startups, entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers, corporate innovators, and researchers.
One of the signature programs of the Global Gathering is Pitch2Tokyo, a high-profile pitch event showcasing the next generation of global innovators. Over the coming months, regional qualifying rounds will be held at various Venture Café locations around the world. The winners from each location will earn the opportunity to pitch on stage in Tokyo during the main event.

The Tokyo Regional Round will be held on November 20, 2025, as part of Venture Café Tokyo’s Thursday Gathering. This is a unique chance to present your vision and business to an international audience and expand your global network.

About Pitch2Tokyo
Pitch2Tokyo is more than just a pitch competition—it’s a global platform that connects innovators from across industries and geographies to a shared vision: creating Collective Impact. Startups selected through local preliminary rounds gain the opportunity to present their ideas on an international stage, share their local perspectives, and build bridges to global collaboration.

About Venture Café Global Gathering 2026
Venture Café Global Gathering is an international conference organized by the Venture Café network, which spans 14 cities worldwide. Innovators from a variety of backgrounds—including startups, entrepreneurs, investors, government officials, corporate innovation leaders, and academic researchers—will gather in one place.
Supported by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, this event will be held in Toranomon, one of Tokyo’s central business hubs. It will feature a wide range of programs, such as pitch contests, panel discussions, workshops, and networking opportunities, all designed to accelerate “connections” and “co-creation” among participants. This event offers a rare opportunity to experience a global-scale innovation ecosystem in the heart of Tokyo.
The theme for the Venture Café Global Gathering 2026 will be “Collective Impact.” This concept emphasizes how people from diverse backgrounds and expertise can collaborate toward a common agenda to achieve significant results that would be impossible for individuals alone.
Global challenges—such as climate change, demographic shifts, educational inequality, and the relationship between technology and ethics—can no longer be solved by a single sector or organization.
