vc_boston-full-color-logoAs the birthplace of of the Venture Café movement in 2010, Venture Café Foundation operates Boston-area innovation activities and spaces, including: (1) Venture Café Cambridge,home of the weekly Thursday gathering, based at CIC Cambridge; (2) Roxbury Innovation Center, the city's first neighborhood innovation center focused on community entrepreneurship and economic development; and (3) District Hall, Boston's civic innovation hall also known as the "living room" of the city's innovation ecosystem, in the Seaport neighborhood.

Founded in 2014, Venture Café St. Louis serves a booming innovation scene in the Cortex Innovation Community and beyond. Venture Café operates its weekly Thursday gatheringand additional programming at CIC St. Louis, along with two satellite events - Venture Café 39 North at the Danforth Plant Science Center and Venture Café No Ceilings at the LaunchCode Mentor Center. And last but not least ... ... your your next event at Innovation Hall, St. Louis' premier civic innovation hall or help transform local education through Ed Hub St. Louis.

Venture Café Rotterdam operates its weekly Thursday gathering and additional programming at CIC Rotterdam, in the heart of the city. In partnership with CIC, Venture Café is also a facilitator for Startup Visa, which allowing experienced entrepreneurs from around the world to companies and Rotterdam.

Venture Café Miami is the convener of the city's hustling and bustling innovation scene, and is the network's gateway to Latin America! Founded in 2016, Venture Café Miami operates its weekly Thursday gathering and additional programming at CIC Miami, in the center of Miami's new innovation district, Converge Miami. Venture Café Miami is also transforming their own neighborhood, a historically underserved community, through Overtown Connect.

Launched in 2017, Venture Café Winston-Salem is mobilizing the city's budding, vibrant innovation community as a center-point of the Innovation Quarter. Programming officially kicked off in May 2017, with weekly Thursday gathering - you can find them every week at Bailey Power Plant's Turbine Hall convening the innovation and entrepreneurship community of the whole Piedmont Triad community.

Global Leaders

Timothy Rowe (The founder and CEO of CIC)
Tim Rowe is the Founder and CEO of CIC. In addition to his role with CIC, Tim is a Venture Partner and member of the investment committee of New Atlantic Ventures. Mr. Rowe is particularly interested in consumer-facing technology products with mass-market potential companies.​ ​Previously, Tim has served as a Lecturer at the MIT Sloan School of Management, a manager with the Boston Consulting Group and an analyst with the Mitsubishi Research Institute. Tim speaks Spanish and Japanese fluently. Tim holds an MBA from MIT's Sloan School of Management and a BA from Amherst College.

Travis Sheridan (The President of Venture Cafe Global Institute)
Born in California, Travis majored in organizational psychology in college. In 2014, after more than 15 years of supporting startups, he became VCGI’s Executive Director. He has been in his current position since January 2017.
